Welcome to my website, I'm very happy to have you here! I am a natural light photographer based in St Albans, Hertfordshire and my passion is photographing children and babies in their natural surroundings. I am very proud to be a Qualified member of The Guild of Professional Photographers.
For as long as I can remember I've always had a camera and taken lots of photos. I got my first (film!) SLR in 2001 to go travelling with my then husband-to-be through SE Asia and Australia. We got married in 2004 and I upgraded to a DSLR. After we had our two children I wanted to capture every moment, and photography really started to develop into a passion for me .... my husband might say obsession! I'm a Canon girl through and through and last year I finally got my dream camera - a Canon 5D mark III!
Please have a look through my galleries. My style is unposed and natural - it has to be, my children don't pose for anything! Well maybe a Starburst or two (does anyone else still call them Opal Fruits??), but even that doesn't last long! I will never ever ask them to say cheese, I just want them to play, enjoy themselves and capture the moment. I might - just occasionally - ask them to stand still for a moment!! The rest of the time I just make sure I use a fast shutter speed! ;-)
I love photographing my beautiful children and documenting our family life and I would be honoured to capture special moments for you too. I don't have a studio; I work on location using the available natural light and surroundings.
If you would like me to come and photograph your family please contact me for further details. I would be thrilled to hear from you!

Claire, these are just lovely!!!! I am glad you enjoyed the class so much, and got such wonderful images from it! Congratulations! I am always kinda sad when they are over too…
Oh my gosh such lovely work!! Stunning use of light! And now I really really really want to take this workshop too! I think I need a money tree …
Claire, these are lovely! I see some similarities in working with light with what we did with Sarah. I love the silhouettes in front of the windows and the low light shots especially. Well done!!!
These are fantastic! Feel free to “overshare” images this beautiful anytime
