So for this month’s pictures we returned to my new favourite spot in the house, discovered during my recent MNLI course! This first picture I liked how Jack looked, but I didn’t like my expression so I tried a little creative crop! #2, just making sure Jack is smiling nicely for the camera…yup all good……..

OK so this month I gave the tripod a break and used Rob instead! I did all the settings then handed the camera over to him; considering the sun was very harsh I think he did a pretty good job! I love that they start off quite controlled then get progressively sillier!
So here we are again, month 2, and what have I learned about using a tripod and remote? Well clearly still not how to actually get myself squarely in the frame!!! Slight progress but definitely further room for improvement! I had hoped to try again, but Jack has been poorly so it just hasn’t happened…
Can you tell it’s the end of the month?! The other challenge I am following this year is a monthly self portrait, yikes!! Something else I am doing along with the lovely Clickin Moms. In a quest to be in a few more photos so that in the future the children do actually remember that…
