Gorgeous baby bump I St Albans Maternity Photographer

Bumps

Last week I had the pleasure of meeting Katie, who found me through the fantastic resource of the St Albans Mums Facebook Group!  Wow that group is an amazing source of all knowledge locally!

Katie was 38 weeks pregnant with her first child when these pictures were taken, which you would never believe from her gorgeous neat bump!  I wish I’d looked like that 38 weeks – or in fact at any stage, haha!  😉

Unfortunately the day we met was one of the few days this summer that we had wall to wall rain so I was a little concerned for the light beforehand.  However, I needn’t have worried as Katie and her husband Tim have literally just finished a beautiful extension – just in time! – and the light in their kitchen was just to die for!  The rest of the house was beautifully and neutrally decorated too, which is a photographer’s dream!  🙂

Here’s a few of my favourites from Katie’s maternity session and I’m looking forward to seeing her and Tim again very soon once Baby arrives!

A weekend in Lisboa, Portugal I Travel Photography

We have been to Portugal many times as a family since having children, but always to the Algarve.  We see a little of the beautiful beaches and scenery, and sample some of the local delicacies, but I must admit it is mostly a relax-by-the-pool type of break.  Nothing...
