Unsurprisingly in the month of Halloween this month’s shooting theme was “Spookiness”. Now I am writing and scheduling this post a little early as we are actually away over half term and we haven’t got all the spookiness out quite yet. So I am digging back into my archives from a few weeks ago to share some pictures of the spiders webs one morning on the way to school. It was a foggy morning, and the dew was clinging to the webs, it was absolutely beautiful. If a little spooky – I am NOT a spider fan! What I found even more distrubing was quite how many spiders there were on our walk to school, as of course normally I am blissfully unaware of them!!!

Claire, not only are these spooky, they are also gorgeous! I don’t think I’ve ever seen such beautiful dewy cobwebs photographed so well before. Awesome processing on them too. Wow!!!

These are so pretty, yet spooky at the same time- the fence definitely adds to the spookiness too. The lines in the web are just gorgeous- I wish the spiders in our area spun webs like those.

Spider webs are synonymous with spooky for me! I hate spiders! Actually I’m very phobic about spiders!! But these webs are beautiful covered with dew…they glisten like diamonds!
